English singer-songwriter and actress Melanie Blatt (born 25 March 1975) is the child of author and travel specialist David Blatt.

She gained popularity in 1997 as part of the BRIT Award-winning female group All Saints. The ensemble has achieved five chart-topping singles, two multi-platinum albums, two BRIT Awards, and has sold over 10 million records globally, establishing them among the top-selling girl groups ever and the second highest-selling girl group in the UK.

Blatt initiated work on a solo album in 2003, collaborating with various producers including Xenomania, and released her first solo single "Do Me Wrong" that same year. Subsequently, she was dropped by her record label leading to the cancellation of her solo album. In 2005, she returned to music with her track "See Me" and began producing another independent album which was ultimately shelved in favor of reuniting with All Saints. From 2013 onward, she served as a judge on The X Factor NZ television series. She also participated as a judge for The X Factor in 2015.
