English recording artist Mutya Buena (born 21 May 1985) gained prominence as a member of the girl group Sugababes. During her time with Sugababes, Buena achieved four UK number one singles, six additional top-ten entries, and three albums that were certified multi-platinum. After departing from the group in December 2005, she launched her first solo album, Real Girl, in June 2007. In October 2010, she unveiled a compilation album focused on British artists titled Sound of Camden: Mutya Buena.

On 20 July 2012, Buena along with her former bandmates Donaghy and Buchanan announced their reunion. The original trio was unable to release music under the Sugababes name; therefore, they opted to perform under the name MKS (Mutya Keisha Siobhan).
