American country music artist Sarah Buxton, born on July 3, 1980, in Lawrence, Kansas, was previously associated with the independent label Lyric Street Records. From 2006 to 2008, she released three singles from an EP titled Almost My Record and contributed to writing her track "Stupid Boy," which was subsequently recorded by Keith Urban. In early 2010, she launched her self-titled debut album featuring the Top 25 hit "Outside My Window," just prior to the closure of Lyric Street Records. Following this period, she collaborated with Jedd Hughes as part of the duo Buxton Hughes for a brief time before establishing Skyline Motel.
