American actress Shiri Freda Appleby (born December 7, 1978) is recognized for her prominent role as Liz Parker in the TV series Roswell. Her filmography includes A Time for Dancing (2002), where she portrayed Sam Russel; Swimfan (2002); Havoc (2005) alongside Anne Hathaway; and Charlie Wilson's War (2007) featuring Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts.

In 2008, Appleby became part of the cast for the final season of ER, taking on the character Daria Wade, followed by her role as Cate Cassidy in the CW drama Life Unexpected, which aired for two seasons.
