Norwegian snowboarder Silje Norendal, born on September 1, 1993, participates in halfpipe, slopestyle, and boardercross events. She represents Kongsberg IF as her local club. In 2013, she achieved a gold medal in the women's slopestyle at Winter X Games Europe held in Tignes. The following January, she secured another victory in women's slopestyle at the Winter X Games in Aspen, Colorado. During the 2014 Winter Olympics hosted in Sochi, Russia, Norendal placed fourth in the Slopestyle Semifinals with a score of 78.75 and finished eleventh with a score of 49.50 in the Ladies Slopestyle Finals. In January 2015, she claimed her second gold medal in women's slopestyle at the Winter X Games again held in Aspen. On July 27, 2018, Norendal became engaged to hockey player Alexander Bonsaksen.
