Canadian soccer player Sydney Rae Leroux Dwyer, born on May 7, 1990, is an Olympic gold medalist and professional forward currently with FC Kansas City in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). After representing Canada at multiple youth levels, she opted to join the United States women's national under-20 team beginning in 2008 and subsequently became a member of the U.S. senior national squad in 2012. Leroux has accumulated over 75 appearances with the senior team and contributed to their victories at both the London Olympics in 2012 and the Women's World Cup in 2015.

Leroux competed at the collegiate level for UCLA Bruins women's soccer within NCAA Division I as well as playing semi-professionally for Vancouver Whitecaps. She made her first appearance for the Whitecaps when she was just fifteen years old, setting a record as their youngest player. During the WPS Draft held on January 13, 2012, Leroux was selected first overall by Atlanta Beat. Following that league's suspension early in 2012, she participated with Seattle Sounders Women during that summer. In 2013, she debuted professionally with Boston Breakers during NWSL's inaugural season before transferring to Seattle Reign FC in 2014 and then moving to Western New York Flash for one season before joining FC Kansas City ahead of the start of the 2016 season.
