English actress Isobel Dorothy Powley (born 7 March 1992) is known for her work in film and television. The child of British actor Mark Powley, she was raised in London and attended Holland Park School. She commenced her acting career as a teenager on TV, featuring in the CBBC action series M.I. High (2007 - 2008), the historical miniseries Little Dorrit (2008), the crime drama Murderland (2009), and the ITV sitcom Benidorm (2014). In 2015, she received acclaim for her role as Princess Margaret in A Royal Night Out, earning a nomination for Most Promising Newcomer at the British Independent Film Awards, along with playing a sexually confused adolescent in The Diary of a Teenage Girl, where she won the Gotham Independent Film Award for Best Actress and the Trophee Chopard at Cannes Film Festival 2016. She has appeared in films such as Mary Shelley (2017), White Boy Rick (2018), Ashes in the Snow (2018), and The King of Staten Island (2020) as well as on Apple TV+’s drama series The Morning Show (2019).
