Australian actress Bonnie Sveen (born 1989/1990) initiated her performance journey with the Huon Valley Theatre Company, later pursuing studies at the National Institute of Dramatic Art. In 2010, Sveen featured in the ensemble film Before the Rain and made a guest spot on the television series Home and Away. By 2013, she took on the role of Chadara, a liberated slave, in Spartacus: Vengeance. Sveen subsequently became part of the main cast of Home and Away as Ricky Sharpe. Her portrayal garnered her a Logie Award for Most Popular New Talent. She reprised her role as Ricky in the 2015 spinoff Home and Away: An Eye for an Eye. The next year, she declared her exit from Home and Away to join Jessica Mauboy in the Seven Network drama The Secret Daughter.
