American actress, singer, and songwriter Bridgit Claire Mendler (born December 18, 1992) started her professional work in the animated Indian film The Legend of Buddha in 2004. She later appeared in films such as Alice Upside Down (2007), The Clique (2008), and Labor Pains (2009) during her teenage years. In 2009, Mendler joined Disney Channel, portraying Juliet van Heusen on Wizards of Waverly Place. Following favorable audience responses to her character, she secured the role of Teddy Duncan on the Disney series Good Luck Charlie, which aired from April 2010 until February 2014. Additionally, Mendler starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie Lemonade Mouth released in 2011.
