Belgian model Brigitta Callens (born September 28, 1980, in Oudenaarde, East Flanders) held the title of Miss Belgium in 1999 and represented her nation at Miss World that same year.

Brigitta "Gitta" Callens originated from Oudenaarde, a town celebrated as a gem of the Flemish Ardennes. She trained as a ballerina for eight years during her childhood.

She spent her early years in Oudenaarde before relocating to Ghent in her teenage years to pursue language studies.

After securing the Miss Belgium title at age 18 in 1999, she embarked on an international modeling career and signed with Stafford Miller for the Sensodyne International advertising campaign. Gitta continued to work extensively as both a model and makeup artist within Antwerp's fashion scene while also establishing her own jewelry brand called AKINA, named after Japan’s first spring flower. Subsequently, she ventured into photography.

Gitta practices Raja Yoga and has studied across various countries including India (Ashram of Sri Aurobindo & Auroville), Thailand, Indonesia, New York, Paris, and London. She attended the European Academy for Natural Healthcare and teaches Raja Yoga & Vedanta back home. Additionally, she serves as a therapist and instructor specializing in ancient holistic massage therapies along with relaxation techniques and yoga nidra therapy; possessing extensive knowledge regarding marmam points and nadis within the body.

She operates her own Yoga & Mindstyle Institute known as "La Maison Pure" and contributes to Life Tv, a Belgian television channel focused on health topics where she hosts a program centered around Yoga.
