American actress Brittany Leanna Robertson (born April 18, 1990) began her performing career in childhood at the Greenville Little Theater located in South Carolina. She made her television debut portraying a younger version of the title character in an episode of Sheena in 2000. In the following year, she guest-starred on Power Rangers Time Force and earned a nomination for a Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Movie, Miniseries, or Special – Leading Young Actress due to her role in The Ghost Club (2003). For her performance as Sophia Danko, she earned a Teen Choice Award nomination for Choice Movie Actress – Drama; likewise, her portrayal of Casey Newton brought another Teen Choice Award nomination for Choice Movie Actress – Sci-Fi/Fantasy. In 2016, she featured prominently alongside Eddie Murphy in Mr. Church and shared screen time with Jennifer Aniston and Julia Roberts during Mother's Day; subsequently, she appeared both in The Space Between Us—a science fiction romance film—and A Dog's Purpose—a comedy-drama—in 2017. That same year marked her lead role on Netflix’s comedy series Girlboss where she portrayed a fictionalized version of entrepreneur Sophia Amoruso.
