German alpine ski racer Maria Höfl-Riesch (pronounced: [maˈriːa ˈhøːfl ˈʁiːʃ]; born Riesch on November 24, 1984) is a retired athlete known for her accomplishments in the World Cup circuit. She achieved Olympic success three times, secured two world championships, and claimed an overall World Cup title.

Höfl-Riesch commenced her World Cup career in February 2001 and earned gold medals in both slalom and super combined events during the 2010 Winter Olympics. In 2011, she captured the overall title of the World Cup series. At the subsequent Winter Games in 2014, she defended her super combined championship to secure her third Olympic gold medal while also attaining a silver medal in super-G.
