British actress, singer, and director Samantha Zoe Womack (née Janus; born 2 November 1972) has made significant contributions to film, television, and theater.

In recent years, she has gained recognition for her portrayal of Ronnie Mitchell in EastEnders starting in 2007 until her departure in 2011, returning again in 2013. The character was written out of the series in early 2017. However, she first rose to fame during the mid-1990s as Mandy Wilkins in Game On. Her role as Ronnie led to increased visibility and further acting opportunities after a period away from the industry. Womack is now widely recognized, with Ronnie becoming one of the most memorable characters on EastEnders since its inception in 1985. She has received several nominations and awards for this performance.

Womack also portrayed Tanya Porter in the Sky One comedy-drama Mount Pleasant from its debut until it concluded in 2017. After leaving EastEnders, she toured throughout the United Kingdom performing as Morticia in the musical adaptation of The Addams Family.

Initially aspiring to be a singer, Womack represented the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1991. She released her debut single A Message to Your Heart in April that same year, which peaked at No. 30 on the UK Singles Chart. Following her Eurovision experience and audience feedback from that performance, she shifted focus towards acting beginning with a role in Jekyll and Hyde back in 1990 prior to participating in Eurovision.
