Australian singer-songwriter and musical theatre actress Lydia "Tina" Arena AM (born 1 November 1967) is also a record producer. Throughout her professional journey, she has resided in Australia, the United States, France, and the United Kingdom. As of July 2014, Arena ranks among Australia's top-selling female musicians, with global sales surpassing 10 million records.

Arena possesses a soprano vocal range and is fluent in multiple languages: she performs live and records in English, Italian, French, and Spanish. In April 2013, she was recognized as Australia's greatest female vocalist of all time and ranked third overall in an industry survey conducted by music writer Cameron Adams for the Herald Sun.

Throughout her career, Arena has received numerous national and international accolades including seven ARIA Awards and two World Music Awards for 'Best-selling Australian Artist', awarded to her in both 1996 and 2000.

In 2009, Arena made history as the first Australian to receive the Knighthood of the Order of National Merit from French President Nicolas Sarkozy for her contributions to French culture; this honor was presented ceremoniously by Frédéric Mitterrand, France's Minister of Culture and Communication.

In 2012, Arena served as a judge and mentor on the revived Australian television variety show Young Talent Time. Starting from September 28th, 2015, Tina Arena began hosting programs on SmoothFM Radio Stations every Saturday at four o'clock PM on Sydney’s SmoothFM 93.5 alongside Melbourne’s SmoothFM 91.5.[5]

In October of that year, she released her eleventh studio album Eleven which debuted at No.2 on the ARIA album chart marking it as her seventh Top Ten album within Australia.

During November of that same year at the ARIA Awards ceremony held in Brisbane,, Arena was inducted into their Hall of Fame.

On April 27th ,2016,the Governor General of Australia, Sir Peter Cosgrove, presented Tina Arena with her Order of Australia(AM) Medal at private ceremony in Paris.
