American actress Sydne Rome (born March 17, 1951) is based in Italy. Her first name is frequently misspelled as Sydney or Sidney.

Originally from Akron, she was raised in an affluent household in Upper Sandusky, Ohio. Her father held the position of president at a plastics company located near Akron. She began her professional work in 1969 with the British film Some Girls Do. Following that, she featured in Italian cinema, typically portraying the young and seemingly naive American overseas, and also participated in Spaghetti Westerns. Later on, she ventured into German films and television projects.

In the early 1980s, Rome became associated with the aerobics movement by releasing fitness videos along with an album titled "Aerobic Fitness Dancing," which was produced by Frank Farian and recorded in German, Spanish, and Italian. As a vocalist, she issued the single "Angelo prepotente" (1980) available in Italian as well as English ("For You") and German ("Wozu"). Additionally, she created a cover version of Marty Balin's song "Hearts."

She married Emilio Lari in 1973; later on, she wed gerontologist Roberto Bernabei. Since the early 1970s, she has resided in Italy.
