American actress and model Tia Dashon Mowry-Hardrict (born July 6, 1978) rose to prominence for her teenage portrayal of Tia Landry on the ABC/The WB sitcom Sister, Sister alongside her twin sister Tamera Mowry. From 2006 to 2012, she took on the role of medical student Melanie Barnett in The CW/BET comedy-drama series The Game. Additionally, she is recognized for her performances in the television films Twitches and its follow-up Twitches Too. Mowry has also played Sasha in Bratz and Sashabella in Bratzillaz. Between September 2013 and 2015, she appeared in Nickelodeon's Nick at Nite and TV Land comedy series Instant Mom.

In the early 1990s, Tia Mowry along with her sister Tamera participated in a musical group known as Voices. The group released their debut single "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah!" in 1992.
