She gained attention for her portrayal of Donna Martin on the series Beverly Hills, 90210 in 1990, which was produced by her father, Aaron Spelling. Throughout her career, she featured in several made-for-TV movies such as A Friend to Die For (1994) and Mother, May I Sleep with Danger? (1996), while also appearing in independent films like The House of Yes (1997), Trick (1999), and Cthulhu (2007). In 2009, she returned to play Donna Martin again in the spin-off series 90210.
