Turkish model Deniz Akkaya (born August 3, 1977) is a multifaceted professional known for her work as a presenter, occasional fashion editor, disc jockey, entrepreneur, businesswoman, and actress. She achieved the title of Best Model of Turkey in 1997. Of Circassian descent, she is the daughter of a Hatuqwai father and a Kabardian mother named Dinemyis (meaning "Apple of the eye" in Circassian). She has one sibling, Rigel. Recognized as Turkey's highest-earning model during the early 2000s, Deniz Akkaya is regarded as an influential figure in Turkish fashion and recognized for her beauty within the country.

After completing her education at ISTEK SS Private High School located on Avenue Kadıköy, she pursued studies in American Culture and Literature through the Department of Western Languages and Literatures at Istanbul University. Following participation in competitions such as Elite Model Look and Best Model of Turkey, she opted to pursue a career in modeling professionally.

In 2006, Akkaya took on the role of host and chief judge for Turkey's Next Top Model—a reality television series focused on fashion that serves as Turkey’s version of the international Top Model franchise previously hosted by renowned supermodels like Tyra Banks in America and Heidi Klum in Germany.

Deniz Akkaya portrayed Anne Noble in Living & Dying (2007), an American film. She is fluent in English. In 2009, she welcomed her daughter while residing in Miami, Florida.

In 2010, she established Chic Frog by Deniz Akkaya—a luxury ready-to-wear store aimed at children. Her likeness has often been compared to that of American actresses Liv Tyler and Milla Jovovich.

In 2015, she was included among Habertürk's top twenty winners from previous iterations of Best Model of Turkey competition during their Best of the Best survey which spanned fifteen days.
