South Korean actress and photographer Bae Doo-na (Hangul: 배두나; Korean pronunciation: [pɛduna]; born October 11, 1979) is recognized internationally for her performances. She gained attention outside of Korea with her portrayal of a political activist in Park Chan-wook's Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance (2002), as the archer Park Nam-joo in Bong Joon-ho's The Host (2006), and as a lifelike inflatable doll in Hirokazu Koreeda's Air Doll (2009). Her work includes English-language roles in the Wachowski-directed films Cloud Atlas (2012) and Jupiter Ascending (2015), along with her performance in the television series Sense8 (2015–2018).
