Television presenter and actress Désirée Nosbusch, also known as Désirée Becker, was born on January 14, 1965. Her birthplace is Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg, where she has a Luxembourgish father and an Italian mother. In the 1980s, she resided in Manhattan, New York City, before moving to Los Angeles, California from the 1990s until 2008.

Nosbusch is multilingual; she communicates fluently in Luxembourgish, German, French, Italian, and English.
